Our first vintage following California's historic drought, the 2016 Chardonnay is marked by it's fruit forwardness while still having the acidic backbone to support the lush fruit. Hand harvested and brought just next door to our winery, this wine went through both primary fermentation and malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels.  Allowed to sit on the lees and not stirred (sur lee process), this wine was able to pick up some soft, subtle nuances otherwise not likely to occur.  With lots of tropical fruit and a nice pineapple finish this is a wine that will go with a lot of different foods!
