Are you into wine? We mean, really into wine?

Here’s your chance to learn about the grape growing and winemaking process at Fernwood Cellars via a fun and educational experience - Wine Camp!  On October 24th we will be hosting 2 different wine camp tours to take everyone through our vineyards to discuss grape growing, pruning techniques, knowing when to harvest and other insider nerdy farmer tips from our winemaker Matt Oetinger.  From the vineyard we’ll then venture to the outside of the winery and discuss winemaking techniques, observe some of our machinery and talk shop about what goes into making your favorite Fernwood Cellars’ wine!  After the tour we will be seated outside, socially distanced, to enjoy a 4 course tapas paired tasting, which will feature an exclusive chance to taste our 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon next to our 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon, and discuss the differences between the two.

This is a unique opportunity to understand what makes us, us.  All of this will be hosted by Winemaker and Owners Matt and Tiffany Oetinger (Our wine camp counselors for the day)

This will be safe, intimate, educational and unlike any other experiences previously held at the winery. Eacb session will only have 24 campers to ensure social distancing and safety protocols can be achieved.
